i am nickspat
I've been producing and writing music for other artists for over 5 years
but in early 2023, i really felt that i wanted to express myself beyond just writing and producing.i released my debut single "fashn" and
thus "nickspat" was born.
this music is a raw expression who i am...
no filters!
after graduating school, i moved back to my childhood home with my parents. being back in the place where i grew up inspired a whole new sound and my music has never felt more authentic
i found an old 35mm film camera in my attic and started taking pictures with it. it quickly became one of my favorite things to do and i began using it to make visuals for "nickspat"
i spent all of summer '23 working on new music and curating my sound. in the fall i headed to vancouver to work on music for another artist. while i was there i released two singles that i had made over the summer. those songs are called "wontgo" and "nightswithyou"
my debut project is called
t.v !
it's a 6 song e.p. that encapsulates feelings of nostalgic love and it's all told through the lens of an old analogue t.v.
